OK, great job on the last post.  One more time writing about your thinking process (at least for now!.)
Write how you solved the following problem.  It is an easy one.
Factor the difference of two squares:  x(squared)-36. 
Remember, the goal for this exercise is to think about your thinking (metacognition) and then write about it.
 
OK, now it is time to integrate math, writing and metacognition (thinking about your thinking!)  Here is your assignment:

Solve the following problem, then WRITE about your thinking process.  Think back to those transition words that Mrs. Westerly gently taught you!  What steps did you take?  Write them down.  We are starting with something easy to get you used to doing this.  We will add more advanced problems.
