If I could offer advice to next year's calculus students, I would say be prepared to work hard and pay attention. If you aren't listening during class, chances are, you aren't going to know what's going on. Also, get your assignments done in the time you are given in class because it is hard to get caught up if you fall behind. Most importantly, I would advise next year's class to expect to be challenged because calculus is not easy, but it's not impossible either.

My advice to students coming into calculus would be to make sure you know what is going on. That means pay attention in class and ask questions if necesarry. If you do not pay attention in class you will more than likely be lost for the enitre unit. The most important thing to know for calculus is to make sure and be ready to do a lot of work, because this class is not easy, but taking it could help later on.

I advice the next calc class to ask questions when you don't understand it. even if you do understand it i would still pay attention. math comes easy to me but this year "calc" it has really challenged me. i would still try your best to do everything and for the homework don't write random answers because it will show on your test that you don't understand it.

My advice to next years calculus class would be to pay attention to the lesson very closely. There are so many important things that are included in each one and EVERYTHING becomes important because it all build off itself. Taking notes is really helpful so you can look back on what the teacher said and get your assignments done right. As for time management, try to get your homework done in class so you can get help on problem areas.

Calculus has not come very easy for me, so I am glad that Mrs. Erickson gives us enough time to finish our homework in class. I would suggest for students to use their time in class wisely, and not to mess around. If you stay on task with the rest of the class you will probably have all your homework done before you leave, so then you don't have to spend time struggling outside of class without a teacher to ask for help.
